Just like its neighbor Florida, bass is the primary target for most fishermen in Georgia. However, there is excellent trout and great stripers fishing in many of the rivers and streams. There are many areas in Georgia where smallmouth, largemouth, shoal and spotted bass can be found. Georgia’s lakes and reservoirs are especially abundant with these kinds of fishes and takes attention from fishing sports and fishermen.
